Greetings from the Mississippi Association of Student Nurses! We hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! We are so excited to start this year out with you. MASN’s purpose is to provide the highest quality health care and programs that expand your knowledge of professional nursing. We also desire to aid in the development of your professional role and your responsibility for the health care of the people in all walks of life. To achieve this mission, we have many ways for you to get involved with MASN. One way is to participate in the MNA Nursing Summit this January 31st. There will be more opportunities in the coming months.
January 31, 2012: Statewide Nursing Summit
The 2012 Statewide Nursing Summit, themed Nothing Stays the Same Forever, will focus on the changes facing nursing in Mississippi. The annual event which will move this year from the Mississippi Trade Mart to the Jackson Convention Complex located at 105 E. Pascagoula Street, in downtown Jackson, is sponsored by the Mississippi Nurses Association and the Nursing Organization Liaison Committee

After this deadline, all registrations will be on-site with a $20 late fee. On-site registration will begin at 7 a.m., in the Convention Complex Lobby.

Host Hotel for 2012 Summit
The Hilton Garden, formerly The King Edward, in downtown Jackson will serve as the host hotel for the 2012 Statewide Nursing Summit.
To make reservations, please use the following information: Hilton Garden Inn, 235 West Capitol Street,Jackson, MS 39201.
The rate will is $109 per night. The Group Code is MS Nurses Association. The reservation cutoff date for the discounted rate is Monday, Jan. 16.
